Data Communications IC Design Manager

You will lead the development of next-generation Data Communication Transceivers for AI infrastructure using Mojo’s unique technology.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Grow and manage a high-speed transceiver design team.
Be a team mentor and foster team execution excellence.
Architect, contribute, and lead the design team for implementation of Mojo Vision’s massively parallel high speed communication products.
Collaborate closely with our GaN device engineering team to specify micro-LED drive parameters and define the physical layout considerations for hybrid bonding between CMOS backplane and LED frontplane.
Engage with CMOS foundries on any necessary process modifications.
Lead all aspects of backplane IC implementation, utilizing internal and external resources.
Develop comprehensive verification plans and coordinate execution of mixed-signal verification of the backplane IC.
Create test plans and oversee the bring-up and post-silicon validation processes.

Qualifications:

MS in EE or higher, 5+ years experience in relevant field.
Experience working with high-speed communications technology.
Strong background in analog and high speed mixed-signal IC design and leading project development. Have a track record of involvement in multiple successful tape-outs and product roll-outs.
Strong understanding of digital communication channels.
Solid understanding of device physics and manufacturing processes related to communication PHYs.
Proficiency in working with analog IC design tools & flows, including Virtuoso, spice/spectre, and verilogA.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, innovative, high-energy environment with challenging schedules and technologies.

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience with data communication PHY development
Prior experience acting as chip lead and design manager
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Prior experience bringing communication products to mass production

Salary Range: $188K/$200K/$224K
