Roles and Responsibilities You will lead the development of measurements for next-generation Data Communication Transceivers for AI infrastructure using Mojo’s unique technology.

  • Develop custom optical measurement systems to evaluate components of high performance parallel data links. Source parts, assemble systems, define measurement procedures
  • Validate new measurement systems for accuracy and repeatability and interpret results for internal and external partners
  • Execute critical measurements on high-priority samples and prototypes
  • Identify and address new measurement / test capability needs to support broader system engineering efforts
  • Mentor measurement engineers; contribute to the automation and scaling of core optical measurement processes

Qualifications

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Optics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing, integrating, and validating high-precision optical measurement systems and analyzing results
  • Strong proficiency in automation tools and programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, innovative, high-energy environment with challenging schedules and technologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience working in an R&D environment
  • Prior experience acting as test development lead
  • Prior experience bringing products from development to mass production

Level: Principal Engineer Salary Range: $192,000 - $289,000
