Roles and Responsibilities:
This is a Technical Role with broad responsibilities across Mojo's core Technology, spanning packaging, testing, reliability, characterization, and test equipment for Mojo's micro LED development efforts. This position will require working on reliability, materials, processes, and devices, as well as with packaging, data interpretation, and report generation.
- Perform die‑level packaging, including die attach and wire bonding, to assemble devices onto test and loading fixtures.
- Inspect device functionality using optical microscopy and electrical current sources.
- Execute reliability tests and electrical/optical measurements in accordance with established SOPs and test plans.
- Accurately record experimental data, maintain detailed tracking documentation, and manage lab inventory and sample storage.
- Conduct additional tests and inspections as directed, following documented procedures.
- Analyze and interpret test results, and communicate findings through clear reports and data summaries to cross‑functional teams.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with semiconductor and optoelectronic devices and have extensive experience in packaging and testing. They will also have demonstrated the ability to learn new processes quickly.
The individual will also use custom software to collect, analyze, and store data in a relational database, and will contribute to analyzing and presenting the data to the process and design team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including cross-team collaboration.
- Associate's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in optoelectronic and/or semiconductor device packaging, testing, or materials characterization, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience with device packaging and testing workflows.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- This role is designed to support extended lab operations and is best suited for candidates seeking a weekend and evening shift schedule.
Hourly Rate: $60-$67 per hour based on experience
