Mojo Vision is pioneering a highly flexible, wafers-in, wafers-out micro-LED platform to unlock AI applications in multiple market segments. Built over nine years by our skilled engineers, our system-level process combines advanced 300mm silicon architecture with GaN-on Silicon emitters, proprietary quantum dots, and micro-lens arrays to solve conventional trade-offs in size, brightness, bandwidth density, and power. Our scalable, manufacturing-ready approach enables breakthrough products such as AI glasses and next-generation optical interconnects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a software engineering intern to work closely with process and test engineers on a range of software projects supporting next-generation LED array fabrication.

What You'll Work On:

  • Building user interfaces for internal simulation tools
  • Designing agent-based workflows to automate engineering tasks
  • Developing parallel computing workflows to improve simulation throughput You'll gain direct exposure to complex, real-world problems at the intersection of software engineering and semiconductor device physics — challenges that often don’t have straightforward solutions.

  • Is genuinely curious about semiconductor manufacturing
  • Is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where methods and tools are still evolving
  • Has a strong interest in applying cutting-edge AI tools to engineering problems You don’t need to have done all this before – we’re looking for someone who is excited to learn and dive in!

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Junior standing or above (3rd year+)
  • Strong academic record; 3.5 GPA or higher preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate across disciplines and teams

Preferred Experience:

Strong candidates will have hands-on experience in at least one of the following:

  • Web UI development
  • Python development
  • CAD modeling
  • Physics-based simulation
  • Parallel/distributed computing
  • Bonus: a portfolio project or demo (web app, simulation tool, or similar) that you can walk us through

Hourly Rate: $35-$50 per hour based on experience
